Many people are hesitant when it comes to acupuncture, but it is an incredibly safe, painless and effective way to improve overall health.  The holistic treatment originated more than 2,000 years ago, and it has proved effective in clinical trials to treat and prevent a number of medical conditions.

The benefits of acupuncture are widespread.  Many of our patients report feelings of relaxation and improved energy.  Acupuncture can also help improve circulation and boost your immune system.

What is Acupuncture?

Acupuncture is an ancient technique where fine needles are inserted at specific points just under the skin to stimulate, disperse and balance the flow of energy. The result is the relief of pain and restoration of normal energetic balance.

First we will meet with you to determine your particular needs.  We will review your medical history and discuss what you want to achieve with each treatment.  Treatment frequency is determined on an individual basis.  We recommend discussing this with Dr. Clements on your first visit.

The procedure is painless.  Tiny, hair-thin needles are placed on the body to balance your natural energy.  Depending on your treatment, the needles are left on the body from as few as 10 seconds to as many as 30 minutes.

Needle-less acupuncture is also available, and may be more appropriate for your condition.  If needle-less acupuncture is your preference, Dr. Clements will accommodate you.
